A dedicated movie ticketing app designed with accessibility in mind. Added review system for theatres, and mentions the theatre's dimensions such as wheel chair accessibility, picture format, sound format etc.
There are lot of ticket booking apps available in market, but the majority focuses on selling movies and are oblivious about providing a better movie experience. As a cinephile, while booking tickets for a movie I would like to know more about the theatre's specifications, often apps do not include these. This is a challenge as well as an accessibility concern for cinephiles, critiques or for people with language barrier who cannot enjoy a movie without captions.
Theater dimensions, such as seating layout, sound format, screen size, wheel chair accessibility and overall auditorium design, are typically not included in movie booking apps. Movie booking apps primarily focus on providing users with information related to film schedules, available seats, ticket prices. This results in bad movie experiences and accessibility concerns. Detailed information about the accessibility features of a theater, such as ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms, can help users plan their visit more effectively.
Thus adding theatre dimensions can help regular users, movie enthusiasts and users with accessibility concerns.
